Being a main door flat, the Priory is jointly liable for the costs of common maintenance repairs to the block of flats, along with neighbours in the stair. Earlier this year, the council carried out a survey and produced a list of work that needed doing. The residents agreed to focus on the most urgent work, which included repairs to the roof and chimneys. This is going to cost each flat, including the Priory, about £6,000. This amount is going to put a significant strain on our finances, so we are inviting donations towards the cost.
