"Dana" is the ancient Buddhist principle of trust and generosity of spirit. All Priory teachings and activities are offered as dana, and there is no fee for them. In order to cover the running costs of the Priory, we are grateful for all donations, which are also a form of dana.

Donations can be made via online banking. Here are the details:

Donations from people who pay tax can be gift-aided, where the government contributes an extra 25p for every £1 donated. If you would like your donation to be gift aided, please send the following information:

               * Your name, address and post code

               * The statement: I would like Portobello Buddhist Priory to claim Gift Aid on all my donations

You can send this to the Priory via the website contact form

You are eligible for this if you pay at least as much income tax or capital gains tax as the amount of tax that we would reclaim on your donations. Please notify us if this changes in the future, or your address changes. You are also entitled to notify us of the cancellation of your gift aid declaration at any point in the future.

Thank you
